14th GLOBE Annual Partner Meeting and Professional Development Workshop, 29 July - 3 August 2010
The 14th GLOBE Annual Meeting and Professional Development workshop was held in Calgary, Canada, on 29 July – 3 August 2010. The theme of the meeting was Exploring Climate through GLOBE Student Research. More than 150 participants from 29 countries took part in the welcoming events, informative presentations, networking sessions, field studies and other Professional Development (PD) activities over the course of the 5-day event. Members of the GLOBE community presented 38 posters and many exhibited materials highlighting their local GLOBE activities. These presentations, posters and activities helped to make this meeting a great success. Co-hosted by the GLOBE Program Office and GLOBE Canada, in collaboration with CloudSat, the meeting provided opportunities for all participants to work toward strengthening GLOBE around the world. We would like to thank all partners, sponsors, participants, and especially our Canadian teachers and partners, for making the Meeting a huge success. And, to those of you who were not able to join us in Calgary, but joined us virtually, Thank You.
