Budburst!
The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) science and education team has been tracking green-up of a box elder tree (Acer negundo) just outside the office in Boulder, Colorado. The tree experienced budburst on Earth Day! Follow green-up on Twitter as we document the green-up cycle of this tree. We encourage you to share your own green-up or green-down observations on Twitter, year-round, too. Be sure to include the hashtags #GLOBEgreenup and #GLOBEgreendown, and follow us @GLOBEProgram
