05/01/2012 14:00 MDT - The OhioView SATELLITES Conference of 2012, organized annually by GLOBE Partner Dr. Kevin Czajkowski, was held at Pena Career Center in Perrysburg, Ohio on 17 April 2012. Over 65-students from K-12 schools and universities throughout the northern Ohio area presented projects that incorporated GLOBE student data into their inquiry-based research projects. After 15-years of dedicated service, Dr. Jack Fellows is leaving the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research (UCAR) for new endeavors. Fellows was a GLOBE champion before the Program began––when it was merely an idea on drawing boards in the early 1990s. As chief of the Science and Space Program branch of the White House Office of Management and Budget (1984-1997), he witnessed the birth of GLOBE under then-Vice President, Al Gore.
