28 June – 2 July 2010: GLOBE Day at the ICASE 3rd World Conference in Science and Technology. GLOBE is a highlighted component of the International Council of Associations for Science Education (ICASE) 2010 event in Tartu, Estonia, where over 200 participants from more than 40 countries are discussing matters related to implementation of K-16 international science education. ICASE was established in 1973 to extend and improve science education for children and young people throughout the world. Today, ICASE is a large network of science education associations, institutions, foundations and companies, facilitating communication and cooperation at the regional and international level.
The GLOBE International Division is taking an active role in all ICASE activities to raise awareness of GLOBE around the world. Look for more news in future News Briefs about this collaboration!
