The Stockholm Junior Water Prize is the most prestigious international award for water-related science projects at the high school level. The competition is open for projects aiming to improve the quality of life through improvement of water quality, water resources management, water protection, water and wastewater treatment, as well as water education and social related aspects of water. The projects may focus on local, regional, national or global topics. All projects must use a research-oriented approach, including scientifically accepted methodologies for investigation, experimentation, monitoring and reporting the results, including statistical analyses.
GLOBE students in secondary high school or its equivalent (15 to 20 years old) interested in taking part in a national competition in participating countries should contact their national organizer for more information.
