The GLOBE Student Climate Research Campaign (SCRC) is an international effort to engage students around the world in a set of connected activities centered on climate research.

There are three components to the SCRC:

These introductory activities allow students to study real data and understand key concepts of weather and climate.

2. Intensive Observing Periods Students from around the world are encouraged to take themed measurements over a short period of time, and analyze their data. |

Students develop and carry out research projects, either alone, or with other schools in your country or around the world.

Campaign Goals:
- Increase student understanding and awareness of climate, including the broad and integrative nature of climate, the role of climate in shaping community, and the difference between climate and weather.
- Increase student understanding of and ability to conduct scientific research focused on climate.
- Increase student global awareness through collaborations among students, teachers, and scientists that are focused on understanding Earth as a system.
