Train-the-Trainer (TTT) and North American Regional Meeting (NARM)

Registration is now open for the Train-The-Trainer (TTT) and North American Regional Meeting (NARM), taking place at the UA Center for Math and Science Education in Fayetteville, Arkansas.

PLEASE REGISTER BY DECEMBER 23rd, 2016.

The TTT will begin the afternoon of Monday, January 9th and continue for the full day on Tuesday, January 10th. This year's Train-the-Trainer will focus on a "Biosphere and Earth Systems" theme. The agenda includes scientific background information on these topics, the Elementary GLOBE book on Earth systems, land cover classification, biometry protocols, the carbon cycle and phenology. We will use field investigations and the "Right Question Institute" techniques. The cost of this training is $50 and includes breakfast and lunch on Tuesday. Prior to the start of the TTT, there will be a New Partner Orientation on Monday 1/9 from 9:00 am - 12:00pm (pending interest). Please indicate on the registration form if you would like to attend this session.

The NARM will begin with a full day and evening reception on Wednesday, January 11th and continues through midday Thursday, January 12th. The agenda is developing with input from the organizing committee and the US Partner Forum members. The meeting is focused on networking and learning from each other. This year's NARM will include lightning talk sessions followed with networking time specifically for interactions with individual presenters for further discussion and collaboration.  Sign up to present at lightning talk on the registration page.  There is a registration fee of $60, which includes the lunch and the evening reception Wednesday and breakfast on Thursday.

Both of these meetings are open to all U.S. Partnerships, Canadian partners and our collaborators.  Sign up to attend both the TTT and the NARM for a reduced fee of $100.
