Thanks for offering glasses!

I am going to Corvailis, Oregon to view the totality. Science teachers I support in Livermore, California will be welcoming students back to school with eclipse viewing activities. GLOBE Mission Earth suggested activities were shared with teachers and principals.  I will use an IR thermometer and use a lux meter app during the eclipse and report surface temperature and light data back to schools. Students will be taking the same measurements on their own campuses, and can compare results.  I'm requesting glasses to share with school district administrators and Board members so that they also start the year off with science.
