Did you know that GLOBE Phenology started in Alaska? The greening protocols were created by Dr. Elena Bautista Sparrow, a scientist at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Next week, we will have a unique opportunity to meet her, hear the story of GLOBE phenology and ask her curious questions. On top of that, we will learn, how Dr. Sparrow works with native knowledge/observations in the context of phenology.
