Surface Ozone
Deactivated: Surface Ozone Protocol
Protocol Summary
The Surface Ozone Protocol showed students how to gather ground-level measurements of ozone concentrations in the atmosphere. Students determined the amount of ozone present by exposing a chemically sensitive strip to the air and then using an ozone strip reader to verify their results. They could repeat this process to see how levels changed over time.
