يعد التلوث البيئي الناتج عن محطات تحلية المياه بمحافظة الشقيق مشكلة ملحة تستوجب الاهتمام والتدخل من جميع المعنيه ، وقد استهدف هذا البحث الكشف عن أنواع التلوث البيئي الناتجة عن هذه المحطات ومصادره ، وآثار على البيئة والمجتمع ، من حيث تأثيره على الهواء والتربة والحياة البحرية والصحة العامة ، بالإضافة الى الكشف عن الحلول الممكنه لتحسين أداء محطات التحلية المياه بمحافظة الشقيق وتقليل تأثيرها البيئي ، وقد استخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي المسحي ، واعتمد على استبانة كأداة المسح لجمع البيانات ومن عينة قدرها (٣٠٠) من سكان مدن وقرى محافظة الشقيق المستفيدين من خدمات محطات تحلية المياه ، وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث أن هناك مستوى متوسط من الوعي والموافقة لنتائج التلوث البيئي عن محطات تحلية الشقيق ومصادره بينما جاء تأثيرها على الهواء والتربة بمستوى متوسط ، وعلى الحياه البحرية بمستوى صغير ، وعلى الصحة العامه بمستوى صغير ، كما أسفرت النتائج عن وجود مستوى عالٍ من القبول والتأيد للحلول الممكنة لتحسين أداء محطات تحلية الشقيق وتقليل تأثيرها على البيئة . The environmental pollution resulting from desalination plants in Shuqaiq Governorate is an urgent problem that requires attention and intervention from all concerned, and this research aimed to detect the types of environmental pollution resulting from these plants and its sources, and its effects on the environment and society, in terms of its impact on the air, soil, marine life and public health, in addition to revealing possible solutions to improve the performance of desalination plants in Shuqaiq Governorate and reduce their environmental impact, the research has used the descriptive survey approach, and adopted On a questionnaire as a survey tool to collect data and from a sample of (300) residents of the cities and villages of Shuqaiq Governorate benefiting from the services of desalination plants, the results of the research showed that there is an average level of awareness and approval of the results of environmental pollution for desalination plants Shuqaiq and its sources, while its impact on air and soil came at an average level, and on marine life at a small level, and on public health at a small level, and the results resulted in a high level of acceptance and support for possible solutions To improve the performance of Shuqaiq desalination plants and reduce their impact on the environment.
