We recorded the ground temperature and cloud cover for four consecutive days. We also tried to capture a picture of the clouds for our notes/data. We found the ground temperature did change depending on the cloud cover above the area we took the temperature. The less amount of clouds equaled more sun light hitting the ground. The more sun that reached the ground the higher the surface temperature of the ground.
