Do GLOBE
The GLOBE (Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment) Program is an international science and education initiative that engages students, teachers, and the public in collecting and analyzing environmental data. Participants contribute to scientific research by gathering observations in areas such as atmosphere, hydrology, soils, and land cover, fostering a greater understanding of the Earth's system and promoting environmental awareness.
GLOBE is founded on the principles of science education and collaboration. From engaging lesson plans to measurement campaigns, more than 40,000 schools worldwide have used GLOBE's resources to investigate the environment. Through the efforts of both students and citizens, more than 250 million points of data have been contributed to the scientific community, providing researchers a crucial look inside Earth's systems.
As climates around the world continue to change, acquiring accurate data like this is as important as ever, so there has never been a better time to "Do GLOBE."
