Do GLOBE
The GLOBE Program is an international science and education initiative that engages students, educators, and the public in collecting and analyzing environmental data. Participants contribute to scientific research by gathering observations in areas such as atmosphere, hydrology, soils, and land cover, fostering a greater understanding of the Earth's system and promoting environmental awareness.
GLOBE is founded on the principles of science, education, and collaboration. More than 40,000 schools and 280,000 citizen scientists worldwide have used GLOBE's resources to investigate the environment, contributing more than 250 million points of data. Data can provide researchers with a crucial look inside Earth's systems.
GLOBE data spans 30 years, offering students and scientists an opportunity to study environmental change over time. Acquiring accurate data today adds to the record for scientists in the future. There has never been a better time to “Do GLOBE.”
