GLOBE Observer Connect March 2025: Trees Updates
Join us on 20 March 2025 at 12 pm ET to learn about the latest updates to GLOBE Observer Trees to collect information about tree type. In this month’s GLOBE Observer Connect, Brian Campbell will lead a discussion about why we ask for tree type, how to enter that information into the updated GLOBE Observer Trees tool, and how to find a tree’s genus and species or common name if you don’t know it.

Snow View Intensive Observation Period
Join the Snow View Intensive Observation Period (IOP) for the month of February! Learn about snow by observing and photographing snow with the Cloud, Tree, and/or Land Cover tools on GLOBE Observer. With a measuring device like a ruler, anyone can measure the depth of the snow and enter the snow depth in a feature photo caption.
