Registration is Opening in February for the Regional Student Research Symposia
U.S. GLOBE Partners, educators, and students: it’s almost time for the 2025 Regional Student Research Symposia (SRS). The symposia offer students in grades 5–12 the chance to discuss research projects with STEM professionals, share ideas with and learn from peers, and explore STEM careers.

SEES Internship Deadline Nearing for U.S. GLOBE 10th and 11th Grade Students
The GLOBE U.S. Coordination Office is accepting applications from current GLOBE students for the STEM Enhancement in Earth Science (SEES) 2025 Summer Internship Program. Applications are due by 22 February.

YES Medal Awarded to Dr. Elena Bautista Sparrow at YLACES 10th Anniversary Celebration
During the YLACES 10th anniversary celebration, Dr. Dixon M. Butler, founder and president, presented Dr. Elena Bautista Sparrow with the Youth Environmental Science (YES) Medal in recognition of her significant contribution to youth learning as citizen environmental scientists.
