YLACES Grant Cycle Opens 10 December
Youth Learning as Citizen Environmental Scientists (YLACES) is a grant-making nonprofit committed to fostering scientific habits of mind. YLACES is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Over these past 10 years, in addition to supporting the GLOBE Plus Post grants (grants proposed by U.S. diplomatic missions), YLACES has awarded 168 micro-grants to U.S. educators and 51 grants to educators in 35 countries (on five continents!), all in support of students doing science to learn science.

Through the micro-grants, YLACES funds equipment that enables K–14 students across the world to collect and analyze data and do research using the environment as their learning laboratory. The next YLACES grant cycle will open on 10 December 2024. If you have equipment needs, we encourage you to apply.
