To geld — agreed! Unfortunately, some greenhouse gases stay in the atmosphere a long time, so it will be hard to stop it totally at least for awhile.

Sorry to hear about the fires.

We are finding many communities in the U.S. trying to do something to slow down the release of greenhouse gases, as well as some states. Some private companies are also taking steps, and that is encouraging. I like you hope that the countries in the world will work together to solve this problem.

We\’re seeing the effects of this in Australia. I think you\’ll find the next (Labor) government will be signing a new Kyoto Agreement and also committing to tackling climate change. Its only early Spring downunder and already the bushfires are raging. This is a fascinating blog. Thanks.
