Unfortunately, some greenhouse gases stay in the atmosphere a long time, so it will be hard to stop it totally at least for awhile.

We are finding many communities in the U.S. trying to do something to slow down the release of greenhouse gases, as well as some states. Some private companies are also taking steps, and that is encouraging. I like you hope that the countries in the world will work together to solve this problem.
