Quick Summary
Organization pages, documents, content, and media are all managed
through your site admin menu located on the left.
Accessing the Site Admin Menu
- Open the site admin menu by clicking the admin menu icon at the
top left .
- Navigate to your organization page (if not already on the site) by
opening the 'Go To' menu and then 'My Organizations' and then select
your organization.
- You should see your organization name on the site admin menu.
This chapter discusses Site Builder.
This is the section where you can create and manage pages in your organization.
Viewing the Page Structure
- Open Site Builder > Pages
- Your org home page is displayed by default.
- Click the 3 dots next to the page to View, Configure (change name
and URL, display options), Copy or Delete the page.
- Click the small grey arrow to view the sub-pages.
- Sub-pages can also be re-arranged by clicking the 6 dots to left
of the page title and dragging the page to a different page location.
Creating a New Page
- Roll over the page where the new page is going to be created under.
- A plus + icon will display, Click the icon.
- On the next screen, select the 'Widget' page type. Note: Content
pages were recently introduced but are not being used on
Country/Partner pages at this time.
- Enter the Page Name.
- Select the Page Layout, for normal pages with a side-nav, select
'GLB 1 1 Nav'.
- The page will be created.
Hiding New Pages from the Navigation (not shown in video)
If you are working on a new page and you don't want it viewable to
users while you are working on it, you can hide the page from the navigation.
- Under Site Builder > Pages, find the new page you just created.
- Use the 3 dots and select 'Configure'
- Under 'Hidden from Navigation Menu Widget' click the button to
slide it to the right.
- This will hide the page. Make sure to un-hide it when you have
finished adding content to the page.
Open the New Page and Add New Content
- Find the page under Site Builder > Pages
- Under the 3 dots, click 'View'
- The new blank page will open.
- The page will be empty so new content needs to be added.
- Click the + icon at the top right to open the Add Content window.
- Open Widgets > Highlighted and drag the 'Web Content Display'
widget on to your page.
- Close the Add Content window
Mapping a Web Article to the Web Display Widget
You now need to map a web content article to the page. If you
already created an article, you can map it to the web content display.
If not, you must create the article first and then map it.
To create a new web article, open the Side Admin menu (on the left),
go to Content & Data > Web Content
- Click the blue + icon at the top right
- Select 'Basic Web Content'
- This will open the text editor for you to create your web article
(see the chapter 'Changing Content on a Page' for more info)
- Publish the article
Now, return to the page to add the content.
- Inside the Web Content Display widget, click on the text 'Select
Web Content to make it visible'
- On the next screen, click the 'Select' button
- Now, find the content you want to add to the page and click the title.
- Click the 'Save' button.
- The article will be added to the page
- You can then click on the 3 blue dots to edit the web article, if
desired.
