GLOBE DataTool

Quickly upload your large datasets into our archives with the GLOBE DataTool. Originally developed by the University of Cologne, our DataTool makes it easy to submit your environmental measurements to GLOBE via CSV files. This is a great way of rapidly uploading your extensive datasets without using our standard, form-based data entry method on the GLOBE Homepage. This approach also allows you to use your spreadsheet software of choice for data collection as long as you can export your file into a CSV format. Once you load your file into the GLOBE DataTool, you can edit, visualize, and upload your measurements straight to our online databases.

Important: Before you upload your files to our databases, make sure you have a valid user ID and that the respective measurement sites have already been created at GLOBE.
