On March 21, 2025, the 25th edition of Rivers in Spring will bring together students, teachers, and scientists from around the world to celebrate World Water Day—with a special focus on Glacier Preservation! The event will take place in two parallel formats:
🌿 In-Person in Mantova, Italy – participants will
explore 98 interactive activities at workstations along the stunning
Mantova lakes.
💻 Online – join an international audience for a
dynamic mix of live reports, global collaborations, and recorded
materials showcasing how communities worldwide are tackling water challenges.
Online Event – Connect with an International GLOBE Community!
Hosted in English by Deakin University experts, A/Prof. Alessandra Sutti and Env. Eng. Stuart Robottom, the international live broadcast will feature insights from scientists, educators, and institutions across Italy, Europe-Eurasia, Asia-Pacific, North and South America. Whether through live discussions or pre-recorded interventions, this session offers a unique opportunity to hear directly from directly from water sustainability experts.
