The Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign will be hosting the webinar: “Year 5 Kickoff: The Importance of Trees and Land Cover, Student Research, and the NASA GLOBE Trees Challenge 2022: Trees in a Changing Climate” on Tuesday, 11 October, at 02:00 p.m. EDT (06:00 p.m. UTC).
This webinar will serve as the starting point for Year 5 of the Trees Around the GLOBE Student Research Campaign. During the webinar, the campaign team will focus on three guiding research questions; discuss the importance of taking tree height and land cover measurements; and highlight upcoming events, like the 2022 Pecora Conference and the NASA GLOBE Trees Challenge 2022: Trees in a Changing Climate. Students and teachers are invited to attend this kickoff webinar and learn about how Year 05 of the campaign will be structured for guiding student research.
