GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Involved in Regional Effort to Motivate and Attract Students to Science

Preparations are underway in eight GLOBE countries in Europe to launch a three-year EU-funded project designed to disseminate information about best practices in teaching science and engaging young people in science studies. Working with the GLOBE Europe and Eurasia Regional Office, the eight countries received a 450,000 Euro award for their proposal entitled "MASS: Motivate and Attract Students to Science." Participating GLOBE countries will share best practices in science teaching--including GLOBE practices--across the Europe region. The first meeting of participating countries will take place at the end of November.
