GLOBE Mission Mosquito Webinar: Braiding Indigenous Ways of Knowing with Western STEM

Join the GLOBE program’s Mission Mosquito and Land Cover team for a professional development webinar on Tuesday, 25 June, at 2 p.m. ET (18:00 UTC).  

Anne Lewis from the South Dakota Discovery Center will share insights into interweaving Indigenous ways of knowing with Western STEM. In her presentation, she will share lessons from Stacy Laravie, a Ponca educator, on understanding the interconnectedness of everything, or traditional ecological kinship, and delve into integrating the Oceti Sakowin Essential Understandings with STEM for all grade levels.
