GLOBE Website Upgrades Continue to Improve User Experience
The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) technical team recently delivered a variety of technical performance updates to the globe.gov website. These behind-the-scenes improvements will enhance performance of the visualization portion of the website and will be implemented into the website over the next few weeks.
In other news, Phase 1 of the upload of user training records (Bulk Upload) migration is complete. This process ported website users from the old GLOBE website to the new website. Now that Phase 1 of the Bulk Upload is complete, the website users database has grown from approximately 2,000 users to approximately 16,300 users.
Finally, a community support team text document has been added to the GLOBE website Community Feedback Forum Discussions group entitled "Instructions on How to Create and Manage a Workshop." This document (Available in Arabic, English and Spanish) will assist Partners and Country Coordinators with questions regarding working through the workshop process. The document is also available in the Partners and Country Coordinators community section.
