Great Global Investigation of Climate - Currently Underway
Collecting data throughout the year helps build a GLOBE database that allows students and other climate scientists to observe seasonal changes that vary across latitude and continents. These changes are influenced by factors such as climate variability, proximity to water, elevation, topography, droughts or impacts of extreme weather events. By observing your environment over time, GLOBE students will be able to begin to address the question "What is my climate and how has it changed?"
Visit the Great Global Investigation of Climate (GGIC) webpage for details about how to become involved.
Enjoy going outdoors in March to take your temperature and precipitation measurements and enter them in the GLOBE database. Become part of the growing GLOBE community taking part in the Student Climate Research Campaign.
