Join International Scientists Onboard Ocean Research Vessel through Live Webinars
GLOBE is eager to share an exciting opportunity for teachers and students to participate in a live broadcast with scientists on board the JOIDES Resolution (JR), a research vessel that travels the world conducting research on the Earth’s climate and amazing geologic history.
From 27 July through 29 September, the JR will be in the waters off the coast of Australia. Scientists from around the world will be onboard – and ready to talk to students about their work and life at sea, LIVE! Sign up here to take advantage of this unique and exciting opportunity. Live events are free, however, they are “first come, first serve” and the schedule does fill up! Join GLOBE Partner Stephen Pekar and the international scientists of the expedition and provide your students with the opportunity to be part of this expedition,
Class not in session during this period? Don’t worry; we will continue to send announcements about the JR’s expeditions all around the globe, and exciting opportunities to participate in live webcasts with researchers onboard.
