NASA Opportunity for U.S. Female High School Juniors
NASA is on the lookout for the engineers, scientists, researchers and innovators of tomorrow. The Women in Stem High School (WISH) project offers a unique experience for female high school students to jump-start their future and explore the possibilities of a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) related college major or career.
WISH is now asking female high school juniors to participate in NASA's pilot project––which starts with online participation and culminates with a summer experience at NASA Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Summer, 2012.
Applicants must be:
•U.S. citizens
•Current female high school junior during the 2011-2012 school year
•Interested and motivated to do STEM
•Committed to a one-year association with JSC
