Website Users Data to be Uploaded by "Bulk"
If you use the GLOBE website, this story is for you.
The GLOBE Program Office (GPO) and our website partners at Raytheon Web Services (RWS) continue to make meaningful progress on the planned upload of user training data and additional legacy-GLOBE-website user information to the new GLOBE website.
The testing process for uploading roughly 25,000 community users along with their legacy workshop training data (that meets quality control requirements) from the old database has been ongoing over the last several weeks. As a final quality control step, GPO technical is now reviewing the results of the testing.
Once this process is complete, GPO will inform the community via the GLOBE website and community email what it can expect during this transition process.
In addition, we anticipate some users may encounter either workshop training data or setup information that they would like to update. Due to the large amount of users being uploaded to the new website during this process, there may be some delay in addressing help desk queries. We ask for your patience and assistance during this time, as we will work tirelessly to make this process as smooth as possible.
If you have questions regarding the user data migration process, feel free to contact with us direct via the community feedback forum.
