Get Funding for Your GLOBE School in the European Union through Erasmus Plus
Support networking and mobility of GLOBE teachers and students through Partnerships in the fields of Higher Education, VET, School and Adult education.
This is a new programme offered by the European Union, which replaces the former Comenius funding. Any school can cooperate with another from abroad and obtain funding for 2 or 3 years. This is a great opportunity for GLOBE schools willing to share their experience, plan projects and/or organize student exchanges with their partner school(s) within the GLOBE Europe and Eurasia network.
General information on the programme can be found on the EU website, where a detailed Erasmus+ Programme Guide is available for downloading in English and various other languages. Schools can make projects on any topic of their own choice (see page 109 of the Programme Guide, English Version). Also learn which countries that can participate in Erasmus+ projects (pages 24-26).
For advice on how to write and complete a grant proposal, contact the National Agency in your country which can provide you with more detailed information in your language.
If you have already established a partnership with a European GLOBE school, you can contact them. If you want to connect with other GLOBE schools from Europe and Eurasia in order to submit a joint EU Erasmus+ proposal together, contact Dana Voltapkova.
Deadline for proposals is 31 March 2015 at 12:00_ (midday Brussels time) for projects that will take place 1 September - 31 December 2015.
Erasmus+ is open till the year 2020. Schools can apply once a year in March. Those who are not able to apply this March can start to find their partner schools and be prepared for the next year.
