GLOBE U.S. Partners: Five-Day Intensive Train-the-Trainer Bootcamp Will be Held in New Orleans 06-10 November – Application Deadline 15 September
An intensive five-day GLOBE Partnership Train-the-Trainer (TTT) will be held for U.S. Partners in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA from 06-10 November. The focus will be on implementing GLOBE within highly diverse communities or within schools and informal learning programs that serve traditionally under-served and underrepresented populations in STEM disciplines, including women, minorities, and persons with disabilities.
The workshop is funded by a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant with travel, accommodation, and meals covered for 15 participants. New GLOBE partners (those who have joined in the last three years and have not received a full five-day training) can register two participants. Other GLOBE partners can register one participant.
There will be time during the workshop for networking and discussing possible collaborations. Once the selection committee has selected the participants, participants will be sent the travel information worksheet to complete and return. The application deadline is 15 September; selection will be by 02 October.
