Ana Prieto - Ana Prieto

Ana is holds a Master in Science Education from the National University of Comahue, Argentina. She received a Higher Diploma in Education and New Technologies from FLACSO, and Higher Diploma in Education STEM-STEAM from OAS Portal of the Americas. She was an IVLP Fellow from U.S. Department of State and International Teacher Weeks from CERN, Switzerland. Ana has worked on various international projects with JICA, Japan; with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, and with the University of Texas at Tyler, USA. She was director of CPEM 65 and head of the Department of CEAN, Argentina. Ana is currently director and professor in the Master of Science Education Program at the National University of Comahue, Coordinator of the ENO Program in Argentina, and member of the ENO International Council. In addition, she has been a GLOBE teacher and international trainer since 2001, and currently serves as a member of the GLOBE International STEM Network and the Technology Working Group for the GLOBE Program. She co-directs the Innovation, Science and Technology Area of REAL (Argentine-American Network for Leadership) and is Director of the Neuquén Delegation. She is a member of the Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert program. Her research interests include STEM Education, international comparative studies, and incorporation of new technologies in formal and non-formal education and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in science education.
