Amy Barfield is an Outreach and Training Specialist at the GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO) in Boulder, Colorado. Joining the GIO team in 2014 after an internship, she focuses on planning and running the International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS).
Amy earned a BA in Environmental Science and a MA in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Colorado - Boulder. Her academic focus was on biogeochemistry and microbiology. She also brings to GIO a wealth of Earth Science knowledge and informal education experience.
