GLOBE Observer Connect — 21 May 2024

May heralds both warmer temperatures and the start of mosquito season in much of the Northern Hemisphere. You can reduce mosquitoes around your home now by identifying and eliminating habitats near you.

Join us for an informal conversation with Mosquito Habitat Mapper science lead Rusty Low and GLOBE volunteers who are working to find mosquito habitats in Arizona. Read about their work: Abandoned Backyard Pools Pose Mosquito Risks. 

They will share their experiences reducing mosquito habitats and will be ready to help you begin your own search for mosquitoes.
