This GLOBE Partnership is a member of the Texas Regional Collaboratives For Excellence in Science and Mathematics Teaching. The TRC is an award-winning statewide network of P-16 partnerships consisting of 66 Collaboratives (40 Science and 26 Math) serving over 700 schools districts and charter schools across Texas. Region 5 Education Service Center at Silsbee Conference Center will work with schools and teachers primarily in the Region 5 ESC area which covers a six county region in Southeast Texas. These counties include school districts of Hardin, Jasper, Jefferson, Orange, Newton and Tyler counties plus High Island ISD. Our main thrust will be working with teachers, university professors or other service learning organizations i.e. girl scouts, boy scouts, etc.
