Ganador del concurso

Mayerli Elizabeth Juárez, de 14 años, fue la ganadora del concurso para diseñar el logo de la campaña "Árboles dentro de LAC", del Centro Educativo Buganvilia, Guatemala. 

Tras una exhaustiva y difícil tarea, con 248 dibujos provenientes de 8 países (Argentina, Brasil, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panamá, Perú, República Dominicana y Uruguay), el jurado eligió al ganador, a través de una metodología con puntajes. 

El jurado fue integrado por: 

  • Nektaria Adaktilou, actualmente evaluador externo de Globe Mission Earth (Estados Unidos)
  • Lenka Kleger, quién trabaja para la Oficina de Coordinación Regional para Europa y Eurasia y Coordinadora de la Campaña de Fenología de la región (República Checa)
  • Ramona Mercieca, Globe Deputy Country Coordinator de Malta
  • Peter Falcon, de NASA (Estados Unidos)

Winner of the contest

Mayerli Elizabeth Juarez, 14 years old, was the winner of the contest to design the logo for the "Trees within LAC" campaign of the Buganvilia Educational Center, Guatemala. 

After an exhaustive and difficult task, with 248 drawings from 8 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Panama, Peru and Uruguay), the jury chose the winner through a scoring methodology.

The jury was composed of: 

  • Nektaria Adaktilou, currently external evaluator for Globe Mission Earth (United States)
  • Lenka Kleger, who works for the Regional Coordination Office for Europe and Eurasia and Coordinator of the Phenology Campaign of the region (Czech Republic)
  • Ramona Mercieca, Globe Deputy Country Coordinator (Malta)
  • Peter Falcon, NASA (United States)

Temática 

La Oficina Regional LAC (Latinoamérica y el Caribe) y las líderes de la campaña invitan a la comunidad educativa, -Primaria y Secundaria- , a través de los docentes que se inscriban a la campaña "Árboles dentro de LAC", a participar del concurso "Crea tu logo para la campaña Árboles dentro de LAC" Este concurso surge como motivación para los estudiantes para crear un logo referente a un árbol o varios, el cuál acompañará toda la campaña a partir de abril y hasta su finalización. Dicho logo estará presente en los webinars que se realicen, afiches de difusión y otros materiales que se editen, y será representativo de toda la región LAC. 

El concurso consiste en la presentación de un dibujo de representando un árbol o árboles, que será el futuro logo de la campaña. 

Los dibujos se recibirán hasta el 10 de abril de 2023.

Topic

The LAC Regional Office (Latin America and the Caribbean) and the leaders of the campaign invite the educational community, -Primary and Secondary level-, through the teachers who sign up for the "Trees within LAC" campaign, to participate in the contest "Create your logo for the Trees within LAC campaign" This contest arises as motivation for students to create a logo referring to a tree or several, which will accompany the entire campaign from April until its completion. This logo will be present in the webinars that will be held, dissemination posters and other materials that will be published, and will be representative of the entire LAC region.

The contest consists of the presentation of a drawing representing a tree or trees, which will be the future logo of the campaign.

The drawings will be received until April 10, 2023.

Objetivos de la actividad

Incentivar a los estudiantes a la observación de los especímenes arbóreos de su ciudad, plaza, parque o escuela, contribuyendo así a conocer de primera mano las especies comunes a su entorno, su fenología y características que los hacen únicos. De esta forma estaremos coadyuvando al fomento de la conciencia ambiental en la comunidad educativa, al monitoreo participativo, y a la promoción de la educación en ciencia a través de la práctica involucrando a niños y adolescentes en el aprendizaje. 

Objectives of the activity

Encourage students to observe tree specimens in their city, square, park or school, thus contributing to discover first-hand the species common to their environment, their phenology and characteristics that make them unique. In this way we will be contributing to the promotion of environmental awareness in the educational community, participatory monitoring, and the promotion of science education through practice involving children and adolescents in learning.

Formato

Se podrá utilizar la técnica libre ; eligiendo la que prefieran para su representación (acuarela, lápices de colores, óleo, crayolas, collage, etc.) y en papel blanco. El formato del dibujo será de 16 x 11 cm. y la máxima resolución del archivo es de 1 GB.

Format

The free technique may be used; choosing the one they prefer for their representation (watercolor, colored pencils, oil, crayons, collage, etc.) and on white paper. The format of the drawing will be 16 x 11 cm. and the maximum file resolution is 1 GB.

Modalidad

Se puede tomar una fotografía del dibujo, con buena resolución y luz, o escanearlo y enviarlo como archivo en formato .jpg, .jpeg o .png.

Se podrán presentar hasta dos dibujos por estudiante y se enviarán a través del correo electrónico: globelac.communications@educ.austral.edu.ar

En el cuerpo del correo electrónico se deberá incluir: nombre del estudiante que envía los dibujos, edad, grado, nombre de la institución y nombre del maestro a cargo del grupo.

Modality

You can take a photograph of the drawing, with good resolution and light, or scan it and send it as a file in .jpg, .jpeg or .png format.

Up to two drawings per student may be submitted and will be sent via email: globelac.communications@educ.austral.edu.ar

The body of the email must include: name of the student sending the drawings, age, grade, name of the institution and name of the teacher in charge of the group.

Condiciones generales

El incumplimiento de alguno de los requisitos impedirá que los trabajos presentados sean considerados para su elección. Se entiende que todo concursante acepta estas bases en su totalidad al participar de este concurso. 

General conditions

Failure to comply with any of the requirements will prevent the submitted works from being considered for your election. It is understood that all contestants accept these bases in their entirety by participating in this contest.

Plazos y presentación de los trabajos

Dispondrán del todo mes de marzo y hasta el 10 de abril como último día para la recepción. 

Los coordinadores de país y docentes que se registren a la campaña, serán los encargados de difundir el concurso entre sus estudiantes e informar a la Oficina Regional. 

Deadlines and presentation of the works

They will have the entire month of March and until April 10 as the last day for reception.

The country coordinators and teachers who register for the campaign will be in charge of disseminating the contest among their students and informing the Regional Office.

Jurado y criterio de evaluación

El jurado estará compuesto por cinco integrantes, a designar entre la Oficina Regional LAC y las líderes de la campaña. 

Los criterios de evaluación tendrán en cuenta el cumplimiento de los requisitos establecidos y la creatividad del estudiante.

Jury and evaluation criteria

The jury will be made up of five members, to be designated between the LAC Regional Office and the campaign leaders.

The evaluation criteria will take into account the fulfillment of the established requirements and the creativity of the student.

Procedimiento

El logo ganador será anunciado el 20 de abril de 2023, con motivo de la celebración del Día de la Tierra, y a partir de esa fecha será publicado en la página de GLOBE LAC y utilizado para todos los fines de la campaña "Árboles dentro de LAC". 

Se elaborará un calendario para el 2024 con los dibujos más destacados del concurso a difundirse en todos los centros educativos GLOBE y en nuestras redes sociales. 

Procedure

The winning logo will be announced on April 20, 2023, to celebrate Earth Day, and from that date it will be published on the GLOBE LAC website and used for all purposes of the "Trees within LAC" campaign. ".

A calendar will be prepared for 2024 with the most outstanding drawings of the contest to be disseminated in all GLOBE educational centers and on our social networks.

Premio

El ganador será premiado con la publicación de su logo en todas las presentaciones de la Campaña, en los webinars, en las redes sociales y en la página web de GLOBE LAC.  También se le entregará un certificado reconociendo su trabajo. 

Award

The winner will be rewarded with the publication of their logo in all Campaign presentations, in webinars, on social networks and on the GLOBE LAC website. You will also be given a certificate acknowledging your work.

Derechos de autor

Al momento de participar, el autor del dibujo autoriza a la Oficina Regional GLOBE LAC a difundir el logo por medio de distintas páginas web ,publicaciones papel, folletos, etc. , celebraciones y/o eventos por todo el tiempo que la misma estime conveniente. A su vez, autoriza la divulgación del logo por otros medios que tengan un fin educativo sin necesidad de ser consultados, y sin límite de tiempo. Para ello deberán completar el formulario de autorización de uso de imagen (si es menor, deberá estar firmado por sus padres): 

Rellene los formularios en su dispositivo o imprímalos y rellénelos manualmente.
Si rellena los formularios manualmente, escanee las copias acabadas en su dispositivo y guárdelas como PDF.
Envíe los formularios firmados y cumplimentados a globelac.communications@educ.austral.edu.ar

Copyright

At the time of participating, the author of the drawing authorizes the GLOBE LAC Regional Office to disseminate the logo through different web pages, paper publications, brochures, etc. , celebrations and/or events for as long as it deems appropriate. At the same time, it authorizes the disclosure of the logo by other means that have an educational purpose without the need to be consulted, and without a time limit. To do this, they must complete the image use authorization form (if it is a minor, it must be signed by their parents):
