2018 GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium – Time to Showcase Your Work
GLOBE is excited to host the 2018 GLOBE International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS). The IVSS is a way for GLOBE students (age group 5 to 18 years) to showcase their hard work by sharing their research projects with the GLOBE community all around the world. Project reports can be submitted between 01 January 2018 and 01 March 2018.
Those students who submit a project will be awarded by one or more Virtual Student Research Badges. The Badges can be displayed on GLOBE School Profile Pages, shared via Social Media, or printed out and shared with the students. On top of it, four projects will win $2,000 funds to help offset the costs of attending the 2018 GLOBE Learning Expedition in Killarney, Ireland.
New – help of mentors
A new feature has been added to the IVSS 2018 website to help the student group find assistance from a mentor and in turn will also help mentors who would like to help the students with their queries.
