Join us on Tuesday, 18 March 2025 at 1:00 pm ET (17:00 UTC, 18:00 CET) for the State of Trees Under Snow Part II. This webinar will feature results from the February 2025 Snow View Intensive Observation Period (IOP) with a focus on snow and ice land cover observations and how these observations fit into how we look at land cover change in real time and in the past.  >>

 

Join us to learn how to use GLOBE activities and data collection protocols to monitor water quality. Participants will learn how to measure water temperature, pH, transparency, nitrates, salinity, conductivity, alkalinity, dissolved oxygen, and macroinvertebrates. They will also experience the Earth Around Us Water Tent, a pop-up tent with striking murals, a GLOBE story book, and materials for measuring water quality with students. The Water Tent can visit your school or program! 

This workshop costs $25 per participant. Participants will receive lunch, and a “Water Bucket” with materials for water quality measurements.

Attendees will need to register and pay the workshop fee through the University of New Hamphire. A link will be sent via email.

The GLOBE Implementation Office (GIO) is excited to announce that we’ve set the date for the 2025 GLOBE Annual Meeting: 14–17 July 2025. The meeting will be held in the Washington, D.C., area of the United States, and the theme is 30 Years of GLOBE: Understanding the Past, Present, and Future.   >>
