Angela Rizzi - Angela Rizzi

Angela (Angie) Rizzi is a highly qualified teacher certified in Middle School Math and Science and High School Earth Science. She has over a decade of teaching experience and used GLOBE successfully with middle school students for several years before joining the NASA Langley team in 2018. She has mentored and judged IVSS projects, and one of her students presented at the GLOBE Learning Expedition in Ireland in 2018. As the Task Lead for My NASA Data, she incorporates GLOBE connections on the website and has aligned NASA data provided in the My NASA Data Earth System Data Explorer with GLOBE protocols. 

She contributes to GLOBE Clouds and Air Quality efforts. She developed a webinar series, Investigating GLOBE Air Quality from the Ground, to Clouds, to Satellites, to support student air quality investigations. She also developed a series of GLOBE Educator One-Week Pacing Guides to support teachers with GLOBE implementation, and she adapted resources to incorporate writing with GLOBE observations and expand the reach of GLOBE to more classes.
