I joined the GLOBE Program in 2012. Encountering GLOBE Program has been one of my best revelations. GLOBE Program offers students, teachers, scientist and the community a unique forum to share, collaborate and learn from each other. GLOBE Program in Kenya has not been very active and we are seeking to reinvigorate its activities because of the huge benefits it presents to the students, especially from developing countries who might not have access to well documented scientific guides and procedures.

I am the Assistant Country Coordinator of the GLOBE Program in Kenya and Member of the GLOBE Technology Working Group representing the Africa Region. My background is in Electrical Engineering with particular interest in Remote Sensing (Earth Observation). I am currently a lecturer at a technical college in Kenya and also work at the Kenya National Space Secretariat, which coordinates GLOBE activities in Kenya. We are excited about rolling out GLOBE activities to as many schools in Kenya as possible.
