I have been employed at Prirodoslovna i grafička škola Rijeka for 42 years and held various positions: I was a teacher, made a time-table for 45 regular and adult classes( no computers, all from my head), a school principal. Now I am retired but I volunteer as an external associate.
I was also teaching part-time at the Maritime University/Faculty of Maritime studies and at National College, an institution for the education of adults.
I like working with students, teaching and showing them science. From the moment I heard about GLOBE in 1997 I knew it was the best way to do science and I haven't stopped till then.
My goal has always been to bring GLOBE closer to as many people as possible and as a Task Force member from 2019 and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group member I am working on that too.
In my town, I work with physically disabled people and give them lectures. One of the lectures was how to observe clouds with GLOBE Obs.
I am also a member of the language Sub-Committee, teacher recognition Sub-Committee, Tech Solutions Sub-Committee, and from 2024. January I have been invited as a regular guest at Tech WG meetings.
I speak English and Italian fluently, French and Spanish, write and translate any combination of all four languages.
