GME's Sara Mierzwiak featured as guest speaker at Student Watershed Watch Summit
GLOBE Mission EARTH's Project Coordinator Sara Mierzwiak was a featured guest speaker at the 34th annual Student Watershed Watch Summit. Sara and her former high school Environmental Science teacher, Tim Bollin, co-presented about the impact of the program. Tim Bollin was one of the first teachers to become active in the program. Sara's experience in his high school class with testing water quality of the local waterways had an enormous impact on her academic and career choices, and she shared that experience with the approximately 400 students in the audience. Tim Bollin also became a GLOBE teacher with GLOBE Mission EARTH, and has engaged his own students in collecting GLOBE data.
