Now is the time to get ready to collect surface temperature and cloud observations in October. Dr. C (Dr. Czajkowski for the University of Toledo), lead scientist, explains urban heat islands and why students should study them. A brief review of the protocols are given. Kelly Reeves, one of our GME teachers from Jackman Elementary, Temperance, MI, shares some classroom tips and projects done by her students.
