GLOBE Observer Connect December 2024

Date: 12/12/2024 - 12/12/2024
Time: 8:00 pm EST - 8:30 pm EST
Location: virtual

For the Davis family, Dixie National Forest in southern Utah is a family affair. In 1997, college students Jeff and Jackie Davis were employed to support a scenery management study in the forest. Nearly 30 years later, their daughter Callie, returned to the forest as an intern to recreate the photographs her parents took using GLOBE Observer land cover.

How did the forest change between 1997 and 2024? How was it the same? Callie will be available for a GLOBE Observer Connect conversation on 12 December at 8 pm ET (1:00 UTC on 13 December) to answer those and other questions. Read about her experience in Tracking Change in Dixie National Forest then join us with your questions.
