Our GLOBE Observer Connect conversation on 24 October 2024 was a conversation with an inspiring GLOBE volunteer, Monique Palmisano. Experiencing Hurricane Andrew firsthand motivated Monique's interest in weather and citizen science. After the storm, she learned all she could about extreme weather events and became an active weather watcher and community leader.
