Do More with Clouds

Have you wondered what happens to your sky photographs? NASA GLOBE CLOUD GAZE, a partnership between NASA GLOBE Clouds and the Zooniverse online platform, gives you the opportunity to identify cloud types, cloud cover and other phenomena captured in GLOBE cloud photographs of the sky! Go to NASA GLOBE CLOUD GAZE and select one of three project options.

  1. What do you see? allows you to identify cloud types and other phenomena.
  2. Cloud Cover gives you a chance to report how much of the photograph is covered by clouds.
  3. Sky Color asks you what is the deepest shade of blue you observe.

In addition, you can chat live with NASA GLOBE CLOUD GAZE researchers and other citizen scientists all on the Zooniverse online platform. The resulting detailed information, or metadata, will make it easier for NASA scientists to use the NASA GLOBE Clouds data in multiple ways.
