Air Temperature Challenge for GLOBE’s 30th Birthday Bash
We’re celebrating GLOBE turning 30 with a data challenge birthday bash! Shishmaref High School students in Kigiqtaq, Alaska, invite GLOBE students and educators to participate in an air temperature challenge! From 22 April through 6 May, learn about collecting temperature measurements with Adrian and Hailey from the University of Alaska Fairbanks as they introduce the protocol, add water to ice in a beaker, add thermometers, and check the temperature.

GLOBE's 30th Anniversary Broadcast on 22 April 2025
On 22 April, the GLOBE Program celebrates its 30th anniversary. GLOBE's 30th Anniversary Broadcast will highlight how the program has impacted science, people, and communities in its 30 years. It will also announce the 2025–26 GLOBE Student Vlogger cohort the International Virtual Science Symposium (IVSS) research project teams selected to attend the 2025 GLOBE Student Experience, and the 2026 IVSS theme.
