GLOBE Educators Gain Confidence in Their Science Research
GLOBE Mission Earth (GME), NASA Earth Science Education Collaborative (NESEC), and the GLOBE U.S. Country Coordinator Office joined efforts to conduct a 5-week GLOBE Eclipse workshop. Educators from across the U.S. participated, and they gained confidence in their science research.

GME Teacher Laura Kubiak featured on local news for her students' GLOBE activities!
GLOBE Mission EARTH Teacher Laura Kubiak at Toledo Technology Academy of Engineering (TTAE) in Toledo, Ohio was featured on our local news about her students' GLOBE research! She combines GLOBE data collection with analysis of renewable energy technologies like wind turbines and solar panels. She also utilized the AREN Project's kites to collect atmospheric data with her students. Check out the video below! GME's Sara Mierzwiak featured as guest speaker at Student Watershed Watch Summit
GLOBE Mission EARTH's Project Coordinator Sara Mierzwiak was a featured guest speaker at the 34th annual Student Watershed Watch Summit. Sara and her former high school Environmental Science teacher, Tim Bollin, co-presented about the impact of the program. Tim Bollin was one of the first teachers to become active in the program. Sara's experience in his high school class with testing water quality of the local waterways had an enormous impact on her academic and career choices.

Student Field Days at Earth Heart Farms - Fall 2024!
Another successful Fall 2024 Student Field Days at Earth Heart Farms has just concluded! Between 3 October and 17 October, over 350 students from Northwest Ohio K-12 schools visited, experienced nature firsthand, and enjoyed perfect weather for explorations. GLOBE Mission EARTH staff instructed students on collecting GLOBE data using Atmosphere, Hydrosphere, Biosphere and Pedosphere protocols. Local conservation professionals served as volunteers in helping students investigate flora and fauna.
