NASA/GLOBE PM2.5 Low-Cost Sensor Workshop

GLOBE Mission EARTH invites the GLOBE community to attend the NASA/GLOBE PM2.5 Low-Cost Sensor Workshop. The workshop will be held on 7–9 May 2025. This will be a virtual workshop.

The goal of the workshop is to facilitate a dialogue between scientists and practitioners using PM2.5 Low-Cost Sensor (LCS) data in their research and the learning science communities utilizing localized networks.

As a result of the workshop, both the organizers and participants will:

Understand how PM2.5 LCSs are used by the broader scientific community, identify ways to fill data gaps, examine QA/QC and data harmonization techniques.
Explore collaboration opportunities among the scientific and learning sciences communities.
