NASA Scientist Collaborates with GLOBE for Wildflower and Tree Bloom Research
Dr. Yoseline Angel is leading NASA research on wildflower and tree flower blooms and is hoping that GLOBE land cover observations will help her identify blooms in satellite data.

2025 U.S. GLOBE Virtual Student Research Symposia
The GLOBE U.S. Coordination Office is excited to announce that registration is open for the 2025 GLOBE Virtual Student Research Symposium (SRS). This year, with the cancellation of the in-person SRS, we are offering a virtual SRS for K–12 students on May 5–9 and May 12–16, from noon to 2:00 p.m. ET each day. Week 1 will be focused on grades 9–12 and week 2 will be focused on grades 5–8. A session for K–4 students will be added depending on interest.

U.S. Partners Offering Elementary GLOBE Online Course for K–5 Educators this Spring
In this interactive series, you'll explore topics such as clouds, precipitation, air and surface temperature, weather vs. climate, and guiding students in hands-on investigations. Each session will include engaging discussions, hands-on activities, and valuable peer-to-peer sharing of real-world classroom applications.
